In 2010, Las Casas opened its doors to the public as a beach resort in Bataan, Philippines. Over the past decade, it has created spaces showcasing local history and culture, local artistry, craftsmanship, and Filipino sense of pride.

Its heritage “casas” (house) accommodations were taken from different locations in the Philippines. Using the method of dismantling, relocating, and rebuilding, The owner Jose L. Acuzar brought the heritage homes to his estate and were then renovated and rebuilt by a team of artisans and craftsmen in the town of Bagac, Bataan.
