Many Siargao itineraries try to squeeze in Sugba Lagoon, Magpupungko, the coconut road, island hopping, surfing, cafés, and nightlife in four days.
This one does not.
The plan is to stay in one General Luna hotel for all three nights, choose one signature tour, and leave enough time to swim, eat, nap, book a massage, or do absolutely nothing.
The Route at a Glance
Day 1: Sayak Airport to General Luna, hotel check-in, pool and beach time
Day 2: Naked Island, Daku Island, and Guyam Island
Day 3: Hotel day, followed by Cloud 9 at sunset
Day 4: Slow breakfast, last swim, and airport transfer
Sugba Lagoon, Magpupungko, and the full Siargao land tour are intentionally saved for another trip.
Before Day 1: Check the Airport Before Booking
Search both MNL to IAO and CRK to IAO before booking.
Since March 29, 2026, Cebgo and AirSWIFT turboprop operations, including direct Siargao flights, have transferred from NAIA to Clark. Philippine Airlines may still display Manila-to-Siargao itineraries, but travelers should inspect the complete routing to see whether the flight is nonstop or connecting.
Choose an arrival before early afternoon and a return flight after lunch when fares permit. Sayak Airport is around 45 minutes from General Luna, depending on traffic and weather.

Siago Beach Resort works well for this slower itinerary because it is beachfront while remaining close to the restaurants and attractions of General Luna.
Guests can enjoy the main pool, sunbeds, direct beach access, and complimentary paddleboard use without spending another day traveling around the island.

Morning to Early Afternoon: Fly to Siargao
After landing at Sayak Airport, take the pre-arranged van to General Luna.
Leave your bags at Siago if the room is not ready, then have lunch at the resort instead of immediately starting a café crawl.
Afternoon: Enjoy the Hotel
Swim in the pool, try the paddleboard if conditions are suitable, or settle into a beachfront sunbed.
This is intentionally the quietest day of the itinerary.
Evening: Sunset and Dinner at Siago
Stay at the resort for drinks and dinner. A short General Luna night out is easy to add, but there is no need to force it after an early flight.
Party venues and schedules in Siargao change regularly, so ask the hotel which place is active that evening.
Practical watch-out: Confirm your Day 2 island tour before arrival. Ask about pickup time, lunch, environmental fees, entrance fees, towels, and snorkeling equipment.
Day 2: Do the One Siargao Tour Worth Leaving the Hotel For
7:00 AM: Breakfast
Eat early and bring cash, sunscreen, a hat, and a dry bag.
8:00 AM to Mid-Afternoon: Naked, Daku, and Guyam
The classic tri-island tour gives first-time visitors three different Siargao scenes without using the entire trip.
Walk along the bare sandbar of Naked Island, make Daku Island the longer lunch and swimming stop, then finish among the coconut trees and shallow water of Guyam Island.
Boat order and timing may change depending on tides, weather, and sea conditions. If the tour includes a seafood lunch, request another protein in advance when needed.
Late Afternoon: Return to the Pool
Head back to Siago, shower, nap, and spend the remaining daylight at the hotel.
Dinner can stay at the resort, or this can be your one evening exploring central General Luna.
Day 3: The Hotel Is the Itinerary
Morning: Breakfast Without an Alarm
If you booked a Beachfront Villa, request patio breakfast in advance.
Spend the rest of the morning at the pool, beach, or inside the room. You can also use the resort’s paddleboard when conditions permit.
Afternoon: Lunch, Massage, or Nap
Keep the afternoon blank.
Book an in-room massage, have another long lunch, or simply rest before heading out for sunset.
4:30 PM: Cloud 9 at Sunset
Cloud 9 is the only scheduled attraction today.
Even non-surfers can walk along the boardwalk, watch the waves, and stay for sunset before returning to Siago for the final dinner.
If the weather is poor, skip it. A hotel day that remains a hotel day is not a failed Siargao itinerary.
Day 4: One Last Swim, Then Fly Home
Have breakfast, take a final walk by the water, and swim if checkout and flight time allow.
Confirm the airport transfer the night before and leave enough time for the drive back to Sayak Airport plus the airline’s recommended check-in allowance.
For souvenirs, keep it simple. Pick up a shirt, locally made item, or packaged snack during the Cloud 9 visit or on the drive through General Luna instead of scheduling a separate shopping trip.
